The POLINI 70cc ALU is the entry into the world of Polini aluminum cylinder kits.

The Polini 70 ALU is cast from the finest and thermally preferable aluminum and has a hard Nikasil coating. The ALU offers the finest racing technology. Generously dimensioned channel cross-sections and sporty timing allow it to rev to over 11,000 rpm with the right components. The exhaust layout has been trimmed for maximum slot width with the very appealing sawtooth technology. The teeth in the exhaust prevent the piston rings from threading into the exhaust port.

Thanks to the thermally superior aluminum, which dissipates heat much better than grey cast iron, the ALU can be more highly compressed and tuned more crisply.

At such high revs, the larger carburetor and a racing exhaust with a short resonance length are of course mandatory. However, the necessary tuning work is then rewarded with an RPM bullet that easily cracks the 10,000 mark.
