Italkit Doble Prisma Diaphragm Block

The Italkit Doble Prisma Diaphragm Block increases the effective diaphragm area and improves air-fuel mixture flow through the intake tract. The 8-valve design is suitable for the Honda CR125 and NSR125, as well as various intake systems from Zirri, Falc, Casa Lambretta, and Polini.

By dividing the membrane into several smaller flaps, each individual flap needs to open less widely. This reduces the flap stroke and supports a quick response to changing pressure conditions in the crankcase. As a result, the engine responds more directly to the throttle and revs more freely across the entire RPM range.

A diaphragm block is located directly in the intake flow and thus influences the potential air-fuel mixture flow rate. Italkit distributes the required opening area across eight diaphragm blades. As a result, the individual blades respond quickly without having to open particularly wide.

Depending on the engine configuration, the Doble Prisma can improve throttle response, torque, and peak power compared to a conventional diaphragm block. With appropriately high-performance setups, power gains in the range of about 1 to 2 PS are possible.

The mounting hole pattern measures 71 × 52 mm. This allows the diaphragm block to be used, among other things, as an alternative to the Polini 6-valve diaphragm in the Polini intake manifold with manufacturer part number 215.0469.
