The VESPTEC XL Wago cable box is a well thought-out solution for all those who ride a PX Lusso engine or a corresponding engine housing in older vehicles. Especially when converting to newer PX engines, the cable box is in a different position than on the early engines. The usual standard solutions then often only fit with compromises or are improvised. This is exactly where the VESPTEC box comes in: cleaner design, better accessibility and technically much easier to wire.
Many classic cars, large frame conversions and classic PX or PE vehicles are nowadays fitted with newer PX engines or PX Lusso engine housings. These engines are technically attractive because they are robust, offer plenty of parts availability and are also well suited for tuning or setups suitable for everyday use. However, the cable box is often in a different position due to the electric starter design. This often leads to messy wiring with the original boxes. The VESPTEC cable box was developed precisely for this point.
A special feature is the use of high-quality WAGO terminals, which allow the cable ends to be inserted directly and cleanly - without additional connectors or classic DIY solutions.
Please do not tin the conductor ends. Although the terminals can compensate for the flow of the solder to a certain extent over time, a crimped-on wire end ferrule is technically cleaner.
