The VESPTEC XL Wago cable box is a sophisticated solution for connecting cables to the engine housing of classic Vespa Largeframe models. Compared to simple cable boxes, the XL version offers more space inside and is already prepared for use with 3 feed-through WAGO terminals. This allows the engine cables to be connected in a clean, clear and service-friendly manner. The design is particularly interesting for setups with a larger airbox, as the cable connection is optimized for use with an XXL airbox.
The cable box is located on the engine housing and forms the transition between the engine wiring harness and the vehicle wiring harness. Especially with older PX engines, restored vehicles or converted engines, there is often little space here and the wiring has been changed several times over the years. The VESPTEC XL Wago box creates more space and provides a clearly structured terminal solution.
The 3 feed-through WAGO terminal blocks included in the scope of delivery enable a clean, easily accessible connection of the cables. The terminals are fastened in the cable box and are therefore not loose in the housing.
Many more powerful large-frame setups use a larger airbox. This can quickly become cramped on the engine housing, especially in the area of the cable box. The XL Wago version with its cable connection is designed for use with an XXL airbox and therefore offers more practical benefits for modern SI setups and cleanly built touring engines.
The cable box is designed for PX old engine housings and also fits other largeframe models with corresponding engine housing and cable box mountings.

The cable box holder on the engine housing is decisive. In the case of exchanged engines, later Lusso housings, engine housing conversions or mixed PX/PE components, the existing cable box should be compared with the external dimensions and mounting before ordering.
