MALOSSI MHR Racing exhaust for Vespa Primavera and ET3 125

Malossi's in-house exhaust for the 136 cc MHR cylinder kit. Made from 0.8 mm sheet steel, TIG welded and clear lacquered. Aluminium rear silencer with blue anodized surface. Spring and rubber mounted on the engine block.


PERFORMANCE

Unfortunately, Malossi itself does not provide any performance data, but emphasizes that the exhaust is one of the most powerful in its class and explicitly increases performance in the mid and upper rev range.


MODIFICATIONS

A special feature is that it can be used on vehicles with a luggage compartment flap in the left-hand side hood without having to modify the frame. In order to accommodate the necessary resonance length, the exhaust is routed around the shock absorber. For this reason, part of the engine housing (fan duct) as well as the cylinder cover must be cut out (see instructions in the download area).


CONCLUSION
: Beautiful classic resonance system for maximum performance with the 'turbo character' of an unprocessed 136 cc MHR cylinder. Due to the volume, not for 'German' ears in everyday use.


NOTE
: Like any serious racing exhaust system, the Malossi is made of normal steel and only clear coated. Experience has shown that the clear coat burns off within a few kilometers. If you want to protect the system permanently against corrosion, you should have it electroplated (nickel plating, chrome plating, etc.) before using it for the first time.
