The Racing Resi from Posch Performance is one of the systems that not only shines with top performance in the high-end segment, but also remains controllable and rideable. Developed for concepts such as Malossi MHR and Quattrini M232/M244 on PX200/Rally200 engines, the Racing Resi delivers a very strong band and consistently targets >40 hp - depending on the setup, even significantly more.
The declared objective during development was to exceed the 40 hp mark. For a Malossi MHR, exhaust angles of 190-195° with a pre-exhaust angle of 27-29° are often used. 185-190° exhaust angles are usually sufficient for concepts such as the Quattrini M244 in order to make optimum use of the character of the system.
Compared to the Posch Nessi, the Racing Resi is much sportier: The resonance range starts at approx. 6,000 rpm, the maximum power is typically around 8,500 rpm at the rear wheel. Nevertheless, the pre-resonance range is already very powerful and can be used well in driving mode.
One of the big plus points: The Racing Resi is one of the few systems in this performance range that fits with a main stand and also with 130 wide tires. The routing is designed so that the large belly hangs more centrally under the scooter - this ensures good ground clearance when leaning.
Posch Performance manufactures the system from 1.5 mm sheet steel. The high wall thickness makes the Racing Resi very robust and at the same time ensures a rich, muffled sound. The exhaust is supplied oiled (not painted) - a treatment with heat protection paint is recommended before the first ride.
Jürgen Posch (Inchenhofen, Germany) is the man behind Posch Performance. What began as a development for his own projects became a small manufactory with a focus on practice-oriented performance: maximum power, but tuned in such a way that the curve impresses not only on the test bench.
The result: exhaust systems that are known in the scene for their wide bandwidth, precise workmanship and consistent focus on performance.
