Transmission parts from Stefano Benelli have rightfully earned an excellent reputation in the racing scene.
If you are looking for reliable racing technology for your gearbox, this is the place to find it.
Hardened to an average of 60 HRC, Benelli parts offer the perfect balance between sufficient hardness and the necessary elasticity to withstand the enormous loads of a racing engine in the long term.
The GPX version offered here is a special, very closely stepped racing gearbox designed for maximum drive on the racetrack. For normal road use, it should be combined on the primary side with the longest possible ratio (BGM 25/62) in order to achieve a sufficiently high top speed.
In direct comparison with a PX200 stock gearbox, the BENELLI GPX in its shortest version (12-12-15-15) places all four gears within the range that the stock gearbox already covers with three gears. In other words, the fourth gear with the Benelli is as short as the third gear of the stock gearbox (assuming the same primary ratio).
The GPX secondary shafts are used together with a special ball bearing (15x32x13mm), which is also included in the set.
Benelli offers three differently graduated secondary shafts (values differing from the original gearbox in bold):
