Benelli GPX short racing gearbox for Vespa PX and Cosa

Gearbox components from Stefano Benelli have rightfully earned an excellent reputation in the racing scene.
If you are looking for reliable racing technology for your gearbox, you will find it here.
Hardened to an average of 60 HRC, Benelli parts provide the ideal balance between sufficient hardness and the necessary elasticity to withstand the extreme loads of a racing engine over the long term.

The GPX version offered here is a special, very close-ratio racing gearbox designed for maximum acceleration on the racetrack. For normal road use, it should be combined on the primary side with the longest possible reduction ratio (BGM 25/62) in order to achieve a sufficiently high top speed.

In direct comparison with a PX200 stock gearbox, the BENELLI GPX, in its shortest version (12-12-15-15), positions all four gears within the range that the stock gearbox already covers with three gears. In other words, the fourth gear with the Benelli is as short as the third gear of the stock gearbox (assuming the same primary ratio).

The GPX secondary shafts are used with a special ball bearing (15x32x13 mm), which is also included.

Benelli offers three differently stepped secondary shafts (values that differ from the original gearbox shown in bold):
