KMT Nozzle Sets - Precision in Perfection

KMT nozzles are manufactured with high precision in England using Swiss watchmaking tools. An enthusiastic team led by engineer Alan Baxter and European sales partner Patrick Adam / Chiemgau Tec Production produce the nozzles with a maximum tolerance in the range of 0.005-0.010mm. The highest value is placed on absolute reproducibility, which is why the entire machine park is subject to constant inspection and maintenance. For example, all collets/sleeves used to hold the workpieces are regularly cleaned and possibly replaced before they wear out. Similarly, the nozzle material is carefully selected and brought to the required temperature before processing.

After mechanical finishing, the nozzles are degreased and ultrasonically cleaned. Any impurities such as chips and oil deposits are removed. The final step is steam degreasing and vacuum drying, followed by an air blast to again ensure that the nozzle holes are clear.
After cleaning, samples from each batch are retested to ensure everything meets the desired specification.
