Description
The bgm multitool tool BGM8819N contains three tools in one:
- Pole wheel puller (M28x1 external thread)
- Clutch puller (M26x1 female thread for Vespa Smallframe)
- Clutch compressor (for Vespa Smallframe)
Compared to the previous model now also with the following functions:
- Clutch compressor (for Vespa Largeframe)
- Clutch puller (for Vespa Largeframe)
The pole wheel puller (M28x1) fits for all Vespa with electronic ignition (except Vespa Rally200 Femsatronic and PK Automatic) , so also our ignitions to convert the Vespa Sprint/VBB and V50/Primavera as well as the Malossi VesPower ignitions. Also suitable is this type of puller for all large 2-stroke automatic engines from Piaggio/Gilera (eg Piaggio SKR, TPH125, Hexagon 125-180 or Gilera Runner 125-180).
The clutch puller with M26x1 female thread is suitable for all Vespa Smallframe models, i.e. all V50/50N, SS90, Primavera, ET3, PK, PK XL2 etc. (the Smallframe models can be recognized by their engines, where the clutch is located on the auxiliary shaft).
The clutch compressor suitable for the Vespa Smallframe models. Here it is possible to change the clutch linings with mounted clutch in the engine to exchange. The blocking of the primary to loosen the clutch nut is not necessary with this method. The springs remain installed during the lining change and the Sisyphusarbeit the springs again to sort, is omitted.

Clutch puller for Vespa Largeframe
Often the clutch is stuck on the crankshaft stub. With this puller it can be removed quickly and gently.
Clutch compressor Vespa Small+Largeframe with disassembled clutch
Ideal to compress the clutch. This relieves the load on the retaining ring, the pads can be changed quickly and safely.
TECHNICAL INFO: The 6- and 7-spring clutches of the Vespa Largeframe models are fixed with a castle nut. Often the high tightening torque required for powerful engines cannot be achieved with the castle nut. As a result, the crescent shears off, the clutch hub twists with the metal remains of the crescent on the crankshaft Derartig "secured" on the shaft stub, the entire clutch is not as usual simply after opening the castle nut to release from the crankshaft, but provides in most cases fierce resistance. This is where the puller provides particularly valuable services.
TIP: We recommend our special nut with hexagon head for the 6- or 7-spring clutches. It is much easier and safer to handle than the conventional castle nut, and is also made of a high-strength base material. The tightening torque can thus take full effect
As lubricant we recommend the BGM Pro Street gear oil (BGM2025, corresponds to specification API GL-3)
