The BGM PRO impeller is made from high-strength aluminium and CNC-machined from solid material. It is a 1:1 replacement for the original plastic impeller.

Background
Early 125/180cc Piaggio Maxi engines, as found in Gilera Runner FX/FXR, Piaggio Hexagon EX/LX/LXT and the popular Italjet Dragster 125/180 models, were originally equipped with a cast aluminium impeller. Later production models switched to a plastic version for cost reasons.

The two-part plastic impeller can detach from the brass nut, leading to a water pump failure that often goes unnoticed.
The one-piece BGM PRO impeller made of high-strength aluminium is permanently stable and maintenance-free for the engine's lifetime.
