Genuine Piaggio front axle mount for the front suspension of various Vespa and Piaggio models. The component forms a central connection within the single-sided front wheel suspension and provides the designated mounting points for the wheel axle, front brake caliper and shock absorber.
The axle mount is suitable as a genuine replacement part for a worn or damaged existing mount. The Piaggio original part numbers are 5602865 and 560286.
The product images show a compact formed component with several reinforced mounting areas. The central section contains the machined axle mount with a pre-installed needle bearing. The bearing area on the rear side is supplied with lubricant. Several precisely machined holes and mounting points are provided for the vehicle-specific attachment of the brake caliper and shock absorber as well as integration into the front wheel suspension.
The formed ribs and reinforced sections connect the individual functional areas into a compact unit. Additional machined openings and threads are visible on the sides and form part of the specified mounting and bearing arrangement.
As the axle mount is part of the front wheel suspension and also serves as a mounting point for components of the braking and suspension systems, installation must be carried out correctly. The bearing points, mounting points and adjacent components should be checked for wear or damage during replacement.
After installation, check that the shock absorber and brake caliper are correctly secured and verify the proper function and free movement of the front wheel suspension.
