It is suitable as a replacement for a damaged or missing mirror and also offers the possibility of converting compatible Vespa models to the characteristic bar end mirror styling of the Officina 8.
The Vespa Officina 8 reflects the history and technical origins of the brand. Rather than relying on elaborate styling, its design focuses on clean shapes, visible construction details and carefully coordinated surfaces.
The genuine left-hand mirror consistently follows this philosophy. Its slim support arm forms an elegant curve and features an elongated cut-out that gives the component a light, almost sculptural appearance. The matt black surface emphasises its contours and complements the dark accessories found on modern Vespa models.
The rear of the round mirror housing is particularly distinctive. It features a subtly embossed Vespa logo. A small but unmistakable detail that highlights the genuine Piaggio origin of this component.

The mirror is designed for installation at the left-hand end of the handlebars. Depending on the vehicle model, additional mounting screws and spacers may be required. These are not automatically included with the individual mirror and may need to be ordered separately.
When converting other Vespa models, the existing handlebar weights, threads and required mounting components should be checked beforehand. After installation, the mirror must be securely fastened and adjusted to ensure sufficient rearward visibility. The freedom of movement of the handlebars and controls must not be restricted.
