RS-Series 2.0 Lefthand exhaust for Vespa PX80 / PX125 / PX150 - 177-206 cc high-end, wide band, long overrev

High-end 177-206 ccm High flow layout Wide rev range & overrev Double-sided sprung manifold Main stand fits Wide tires possible Stainless steel or clear coated steel Plug-and-play installation

Consistently developed for powerful 177-206 cc setups

Field of application

The RS-Series 2.0 is strictly designed for high-end tuning. It is aimed at high-output 177-206 cc cylinders with adapted control angles and develops its strengths on setups such as Quattrini M1X/M1XL, revised BGM177 concepts, Malossi MHR and Pinasco 206.

Characteristics

Early, defined use, strong mid-range and pronounced upward revving. The long overrev keeps propulsion stable after the peak - ideal for ambitious gear ratios and high top speeds with suitably prepared engines.

Setup and gear ratio

- Target geometries: sporty control angles (e.g. overflow angle > 120-130°, exhaust angle ~ 180-195°, depending on setup).
- Peripherals required: large carburettor/intake system, flow-optimized intake (diaphragm or heavily reworked rotary valve), powerful ignition (preferably variable), stable clutch/primary.
- Do not select an overlong gear ratio so that the overrev is used effectively; clean jetting and temperature/ignition control are mandatory.

Installation and design

Plug-and-play at the original points. The manifold is spring-mounted on both sides, the cross-member bracket is vibration-friendly. Install stress-free, align sealing surfaces precisely, retighten screw connections after 50-100 km.

Technical details

✅ Design: Lefthand, main stand suitable, wide tires possible
✅ Tailpipe/layout: designed for high throughput and temperature reserves
✅ Materials: Stainless steel; clear-coated steel (corrosion protection, not heat-resistant)
✅ Manifold: spring suspension on both sides
✅ Application: Vespa PX80 / PX125 / PX150 with 177-206 cc high-end tuning (depending on model/setup)

Quality and workmanship

Voluminous, precisely fitting body with clean pipe routing; stable crossbar holder for low-stress installation.

Turned flange parts for precise cylinder fit and tight manifold plug-in connection.

Solid clamp; optional spring suspension on the flange for vibration decoupling.

Setup note: 177-206 cc

Recommended with Quattrini M1X/M1XL, revised BGM177, Malossi MHR and Pinasco 206. Select sporty timing (e.g. overflow > 120-130°, exhaust ~ 180-195°, depending on target). Large carburetor, flow-optimized intake tract, precise ignition and jetting work as well as a suitable gear ratio are prerequisites.

No. The system is designed for high-end setups and requires appropriate peripherals and suitable timing.
Quattrini M1X/M1XL, revised BGM177, Malossi MHR, Pinasco 206 - each with a large carburetor, optimized intake system and sporty timing.
No. The Lefthand design cannot be combined with a spare wheel. Advantage: very good ground clearance; wide tires are possible.

Legal aspects
