This genuine Royal Alloy battery holder is part of the vehicle's battery mounting assembly. It provides a fixed installation position for the starter battery and incorporates the designated mounting points within the vehicle structure. The holder is used on various models of the GP, JPS and TG series with engine capacities from 125 to 300 cc.
The battery holder consists of a black-coated sheet metal construction with several bent sections. The base plate provides the lower support surface, while the side panels define the installation area. Circular cut-outs of different sizes, along with smaller holes and openings, are part of the original component geometry.
The extended base plate features several mounting holes for attachment to the vehicle. Additional holes are also provided in the upper mounting flange. The black surface coating helps protect the metal component.
If the battery mounting assembly is damaged or affected by corrosion, the holder can be replaced with the corresponding genuine spare part. Its factory-defined shape allows installation at the designated mounting points.
A separate battery retaining strap is used to secure the battery additionally. This is available under Royal Alloy original part number 0315110001-02-001. During installation, ensure that the battery is correctly positioned and all mounting components are securely fastened.
The genuine battery holder allows the original battery mounting arrangement to be restored during maintenance and repair work.
