Genuine Royal Alloy left handlebar grip in brown for GP, GT, JPS and TG models. The grip combines a classic colour scheme with a functional surface structure and the characteristic Royal Alloy design language. It is suitable as a replacement for a damaged or worn genuine grip as well as for colour-coordinating the handlebar.
The brown version emphasises the classic styling of Royal Alloy scooters. Particularly in combination with a colour-matched seat or other brown trim elements, it creates a consistent overall appearance.
The design is inspired by classic scooter handlebar grips and combines several different surface structures.
The central grip area has a slightly curved, elongated shape. Several parallel longitudinal ribs structure the surface and create an even profile. The raised Royal Alloy brand emblem with the letters RA is positioned centrally on the outer surface.
Towards the inner section of the grip, the longitudinally ribbed surface transitions into a narrow area with a fine diamond pattern. This additional profiling creates a distinctly textured contact area for the hand.
The different surface areas are moulded directly into the grip material. This creates a continuous design without separate decorative elements.
The handlebar grip features clearly defined circumferential boundaries at both ends.
At the outer end of the grip there is a rounded end flange. This forms the lateral boundary of the actual gripping surface.
On the side facing towards the centre of the handlebar, there is a wider, disc-shaped flange. Between this flange and the longitudinally ribbed main surface is the narrow section with the diamond pattern.
The combination of the longitudinally profiled gripping surface, textured inner section and lateral boundaries supports a defined hand position on the handlebar.
The grip is made from flexible rubber material and is finished entirely in a warm shade of brown.
The surface appears predominantly matt. The moulded ribs, diamond pattern and Royal Alloy emblem are the same colour as the rest of the grip body.
Compared with smooth handlebar grips, the profiled surface provides additional contact edges between the hand and the grip. At the same time, the rubber material provides a pleasantly compliant gripping surface.
The brown colour is particularly suitable for Royal Alloy scooters with equipment designed around a classic or colour-coordinated appearance.
This handlebar grip is intended for the left side of the handlebar. It is fitted to the fixed left handlebar end and has no function in operating the throttle.
The continuous inner opening accommodates the handlebar tube. Its intended use therefore differs from the right-hand grip, which is fitted on the throttle side.
When replacing the grip, care should therefore be taken to ensure that it is correctly assigned to the left side of the handlebar.
The left handlebar grip is intended for various models from the Royal Alloy GP, GT, JPS and TG series.
Royal Alloy original part number 0310030002-02-047 identifies the brown version. When selecting the grip, particular attention should be paid to the required colour and the correct mounting position.
Replacing the handlebar grip is advisable if the existing rubber material is damaged, torn, heavily worn or hardened. The brown genuine grip can also be used when visually refurbishing the vehicle.
Before installation, the old grip must be completely removed. The surface of the handlebar tube should then be cleaned of any residue and dirt.
The new grip must be pushed fully onto the left handlebar end and must sit securely without twisting. Insufficiently secure mounting may cause the grip to move on the handlebar tube while riding.
During installation, it is also important to ensure that the inner grip flange is correctly positioned and does not interfere with adjacent controls.
After installation, the secure fit of the grip should be checked.
The genuine Royal Alloy handlebar grip in brown combines the characteristic RA embossing with a clearly structured gripping surface and a classic colour scheme. As a left replacement grip with original part number 0310030002-02-047, it allows a worn component to be replaced while retaining the original Royal Alloy design.
