Royal Alloy Handlebar Grip – Brown – Right with Throttle Tube – GP, GT, JPS, TG

Genuine Royal Alloy right handlebar grip in brown for GP, GT, JPS and TG models. This version is supplied complete with the pre-fitted throttle tube and is intended for the right-hand side of the handlebar. The handlebar grip therefore not only provides the gripping surface but is also part of the throttle control mechanism.

The brown rubber grip features the classic Royal Alloy design with longitudinal profile ribs, an additional diamond-patterned section and the distinctive RA emblem. The combination of the brown rubber grip and white throttle tube corresponds to the construction of the genuine replacement part shown.

Complete with throttle tube for the right-hand side of the handlebar

The main difference compared with the left Royal Alloy handlebar grip lies in the design of the mounting. While the left grip is fitted directly to the fixed handlebar tube, the right-hand version is mounted on a separate, rotating throttle tube.

The throttle tube forms the mechanical connection between the handlebar grip and the vehicle's throttle control. Turning the grip operates the throttle mechanism.

The white plastic tube is clearly visible in the product images. It extends beyond the brown grip body on the inner side and features a specially shaped mounting section at the end with lateral recesses and projecting contours.

These shaped sections are part of the vehicle-specific throttle grip construction. They distinguish the component from a universal rubber grip without a throttle tube.

As the throttle tube is already fitted inside the grip, the right-hand grip assembly is replaced as a complete unit.

Brown rubber grip with Royal Alloy embossing

The grip body is made from flexible rubber material and is finished entirely in brown. Its surface is predominantly matt with a finely textured appearance.

The actual gripping surface is slightly curved. Several longitudinal ribs extend across the grip body and divide the surface into narrow, parallel sections.

The moulded Royal Alloy brand emblem is positioned centrally on the visible outer surface. The letters RA are raised within the characteristic emblem and form an integral part of the grip profile.

The longitudinal ribs and brand emblem are moulded directly into the brown rubber material. There are no separate decorative elements.

Different surface structures for the hand contact area

Immediately in front of the inner grip flange is a narrow section with a fine diamond pattern. This differs clearly from the longitudinally ribbed main surface.

The diamond pattern creates additional contact edges and complements the profiling of the rubber grip.

The inner end of the grip is designed as a wide, disc-shaped flange. It defines the gripping surface towards the handlebar controls.

At the outer end there is a smaller circumferential end flange. The two differently shaped end sections give the handlebar grip its characteristic form.

The combination of the different profiles creates a structured gripping surface that is clearly distinct from a simple, smooth rubber grip.

White throttle tube with shaped mounting section

The included throttle tube is made from white plastic. It has a continuous cylindrical opening to accommodate the handlebar tube.

On the side facing the handlebar controls, the throttle tube features a widened, specially shaped end contour.

The product images show lateral recesses and projecting sections in this area, which are intended for mechanical integration into the throttle control mechanism.

After installation, the throttle tube must be able to rotate freely on the handlebar tube. At the same time, the connection to the throttle control mechanism must be correctly established.

The exact design of the throttle mechanism depends on the respective Royal Alloy vehicle model.

Suitable for Royal Alloy

The right handlebar grip is intended for various Royal Alloy models from the GP, GT, JPS and TG series.

Royal Alloy original part number 0310030001-02-047 identifies the brown version for the right-hand side of the handlebar.

When selecting the replacement part, make sure that the handlebar grip is compatible with the existing throttle mechanism. Compatibility should be checked using the original part number and the respective vehicle version.

Replacing the right-hand grip assembly

Replacement may be necessary if the rubber grip is damaged or heavily worn. Replacing the complete grip assembly may also be appropriate if the throttle tube is damaged or does not move freely.

Before removal, the existing arrangement of the throttle mechanism should be checked. After removing the old handlebar grip, the new assembly with throttle tube is installed in the intended position.

Care must be taken to ensure that the throttle tube is correctly seated and properly connected to the throttle control mechanism.

After installation, the throttle grip must move freely throughout its entire intended rotational range. It must not rub or bind against the handlebar end, controls or other components.

It is particularly important that the throttle grip returns automatically to its starting position. This must be checked with the engine switched off and at different steering angles.

A throttle grip that is stiff, sticks or does not return reliably must not be used while riding. In this case, the installation and throttle control mechanism must be checked.

Genuine throttle function with classic styling

The brown Royal Alloy handlebar grip for the right-hand side combines the standard throttle grip construction with the brand's characteristic design. The integrated white throttle tube allows the complete right-hand grip assembly to be replaced, while the profiled rubber grip with RA emblem retains the classic appearance of the handlebar.

Royal Alloy original part number 0310030001-02-047 provides a vehicle-specific replacement part for GP, GT, JPS and TG models, combining the mechanical function of the throttle grip with the original brown appearance.
