These do not yet have the simple technology of the later models, but use a multi-part mount consisting of an aluminium casting, a rubber base and a fixing bolt.
The cross-drilled bolt into which the shock absorber is screwed is guided in a tubular rubber bearing which in turn is housed in the aluminium part screwed to the chassis side. The cast part is connected to the frame via the screws protruding out of the chassis, between which a damping rubber mat is additionally mounted.
