We recommend a dry build before painting: Completely assemble the scooter in its raw state, make any fine adjustments - then paint and finally assemble. The item is unpainted (bare, oiled); degrease thoroughly before painting.
Tinkering tip: The fit of all PX side covers is always identical. Only the protruding plates on the outside, which serve as an abutment for the outer locks, are missing. If you make these yourself and weld them on, the covers can also be used on the old P models (1977-1983).
Note: Unpainted item in oiled condition. Thoroughly degrease before painting.
