If the coupling is rubbing on the cover, but the cover is already machined or turned out, it is usually due to a too thin lining package. Some manufacturers use thinner friction discs which increases the overall height of the clutch. The spacer offered here is placed under the large retaining ring to compensate the overall height and reduces the overall height again.

NOTE: Do not use to save yourself the need to rework the clutch cover. Otherwise it is possible that the separation path of the coupling becomes too small.
