ORIGINAL
This BGM ORIGINAL spacer washer (17×12×2.7 mm) is mounted on the front wheel axle inside the front wheel swingarm. It is essential for correct bearing centering and axial relief of the inner front wheel hub bearing. If the washer is missing, the axle can jam when the axle nut is tightened - a common problem with new builds.
The washer is often hidden in the grease filling of the swingarm and is easily overlooked or lost when removing the axle. Long out of stock, it has now been reproduced by BGM in original quality - a perfect fit, precise and durable.

Question | Answer |
---|---|
Why does my front wheel axle jam after mounting? | The spacer between the swingarm and the bottom bracket is probably missing. Without it, the bearing is squeezed when the nut is tightened. |
Where exactly is the spacer washer located? | Inside the front swingarm - it is located between the shoulder of the front axle (at the end of the speedometer sprocket teeth) and the inner bearing of the front wheel hub. |
Why is the washer so often forgotten? | Because it often gets stuck in the grease filling during removal - it doesn't fall out and is therefore easily overlooked. |
Is the reproduction identical to the original? | Yes - BGM has adopted the exact dimensions and material thickness and reproduced them to series dimensions. |
