If the thread for the M8 stud bolt is damaged, stripped, or completely unusable, use the included tap to cut an M9 thread and insert the special threaded stud with the M9 end facing out.
Now the stud with the M8 thread is fully load-bearing again, and the component is saved.
The special 34mm studs in this set have an M8 threaded end and an M9 end for use.
