Concept

The Polini throttle tube is the sensible basis if a quick throttle grip is to be installed. Itreplaces the standard rotating throttle tube and provides a stable, fixed connection for external quick throttle systems. At the same time, it creates installation space in the handlebar head - ideal for mounting a brake pump(e.g. for disc brake conversions).

Installation & instructions

The Polini throttle tube is used instead of the original throttle roller. The quick throttle grip is mounted on the outside of the handlebars and operated via the throttle tube. The original Vespa throttle twist grip mechanism is not required. Clean the cable routing, lightly grease the sliding surfaces and deburr the handlebar tube. After fitting, adjust the throttle cable play and check that it turns back freely and automatically.
