The centre floorboard rubber strip for Royal Alloy GP, JPS and TG is a genuine spare part for the front floorboard trims. The black rubber profile forms the footrest surface within the corresponding floorboard trim and can be fitted on either the left or right side of the vehicle.
In the event of wear, damage or missing rubber inserts, this individual replacement part allows the affected floorboard trim to be restored. The existing trim can be reused provided it is undamaged.
The visible upper surface features a fine diagonal texture extending over almost its entire length. This provides a slip-resistant surface in the footrest area. The black finish maintains the understated appearance of the floorboard trim and matches the original factory design.
On the underside, the rubber profile features several elongated retaining sections separated by recesses. This arrangement is designed to fit the mounting channel of the corresponding floorboard trim. The narrow, straight profile and shaped end sections allow the rubber insert to be positioned correctly within the trim.
To replace the rubber insert, remove the old floorboard rubber strip from its mounting channel. Before fitting the new profile, check the floorboard trim and its mounting points for deformation, residue and damage. Then insert the rubber into the designated mounting channel. Make sure that all retaining sections are fully and evenly seated.
The replacement part is identical for both sides of the vehicle. However, it is important to select the correct position on the floorboard, as Royal Alloy uses different rubber profiles for the individual floorboard trims.
This genuine centre floorboard rubber strip allows a worn or damaged footrest surface to be repaired without replacing the complete trim. Its profile shape, surface texture and retaining sections are designed to match the original factory floorboard trim.
