Rim kit. Piaggio only supplies individual parts. Please secure the high-strength (10.9) Torx screws (as original) with screw glue. The rims of the Vespa 946 are, as a reminiscence to the old shift scooters, two-piece and screwed together. Unfortunately the screwing does not help when changing the tire, the rim is not divisible but only screwed as a whole to the hub.

As a special feature of the 946, the rims are not identical at the front and rear in contrast to the GT/GTS/GTV models. The 946 has a wheel speed sensor on the rear wheel axle. Accordingly, the rim hub is moved further outwards, the rims further towards the engine to compensate.

If a GT/GTS/GTV is to be equipped with the rims of the 946, this is possible without any problems. However, the front rim of the 946 should then be used twice. This fits then also at the rear wheel axle without track offset.
