Pair of front hub nuts incl. weld-on brackets for upper and lower mounting of shock absorber -CASA PERFORMANCE- Lambretta J, Lui Vega

A pair of special front hub nuts + a pair of upper weld-on brackets for mounting shock absorbers designed for all drum hub models.
These ingenious nuts were originally developed and sold by the Italian company Omega in the 70s.
They were advertised for all 1, 2, 3 GP DL, J and Lui / Vega / Cometa series models. However, they can also be fitted to early open frame models, meaning they will fit any model that has a front drum brake!
CASA PERFORMANCE has remade them and added the two metal plates that are welded on as the upper bracket for the shock mount.
This set is now mounted on almost every scooter in the Rimini Lambretta Center workshop.
The upper brackets are 5mm thick and unlike the original Lambretta shock mounts, they will not break under extreme use.
This kit can be fitted to a wide range of Lambretta models, from the C model to the Vega 75. A simple, inexpensive and high quality retrofit for all Lambretta scooters.
Where to weld the top brackets depends on your shocks, but we have found that the distance (center-to-center of the 6mm mounting holes of the nuts on the bottom and the weld-on brackets on the top) averages 22.5-23cm.
