Cylinder VMC CP58 -135cc for small 50cc cylinder cowl
VMC has a heart for Vespa 50cc riders. If you want to be inconspicuous but still powerful on the road, you can now fit a whopping 135cc under the cylinder cover of the V50/PK50 models. The VMC CP58 (CP for Cuffia Piccola = small hood, 58 = Ø58mm bore diameter) cylinder has the external dimensions of a 50cc cylinder, but is designed for the stroke of the 125cc models. Thanks to the cylinder material aluminum (with hard ceramic coating), the cylinder is still thermally stable.
Bore: Ø58mm
Stroke: 51mm
Displacement: 135cc
Crankshaft: for 125cc (51mm stroke, 97mm connecting rod)
Overflow angle: 124°
Exhaust angle: 180°
The cylinder fits the engine housing of the V50/PK50 models without modifications. It requires the crankshaft of a 125cc engine. In combination with an inconspicuous exhaust such as the VMC Siluro or the BGM Banana, you get a powerful tourer that looks like a standard vehicle and still has its reliability.
The cylinder kit is ridden with the long, continuous stud bolts of the 125cc models. We also recommend the use of a longer primary reduction ratio (2.86 like PK80 or 2.56 like PV125). The carburetor cross-section should also be at least Ø19mm (SHB19). You can simply use a carburetor kit from the 125cc models.
TIP:
Also suitable for direct mounting on an 80-125cc engine to make it less conspicuous.
