BGM ORIGINAL 6V ignition base plate for Vespa Sprint, GT, GTR, TS - contact-controlled

ignition / alternator 6V, 3 coils, 5 cables, AC (vehicles without battery). Fits all Vespa from approx. 1960-1980, e.g. GL150 (VLA1T), Sprint150 (VLB1T), Sprint 150 Veloce (VLB1T)

A complete replacement ignition base plate with all coils, contacts and capacitor is supplied. The connection cables have the original colors, so replacement is easy.

NOTE

Please adjust the coils to the existing pole wheel before installation. To do this, loosen the screws on the coils, adjust them accordingly and tighten them again. The clearance between the pole wheel and coils should be approx. 2/10 mm. The pole wheel should therefore have an internal diameter of 106.4 mm. Piaggio workshops used to use a special tool (13768/C, no longer available) to center the coils on the ignition base plate. If the air gap of 2/10 mm cannot be produced via the offset of the coils, the ignition base plate and the mounted coils can be turned to 106 mm on a lathe.
