Our second #OpenDaySC this year was actually planned as a small end-of-season event. (see Open Day April here) Fortunately, with the sun still shining beautifully, there was no end to the season.
In addition to our Open Day classics such as the free use of the test stand, the large private and SC parts market, there were also some new program items.
Here are the highlights, exhibitors, scooters and visitors
For the little sweet treats! A little ice cream was a must
Because our beloved Ape not only looks good, it's also delicious!
Food from the experts!
Good music and atmosphere at the one and only!!!
and with its new president Christian Laufkötter the VCVD was also represented.
LCD exhibited with two beautiful Lambrettas
Cesare Costanti was there with his Vespista adventure companion, his grandfather from Italia presented his assembly stand
together with @t2stroke_, Veybach presented his beautiful custom paint Ciao
Mauro Mulas was there with the perfect accessory for the Dolce Vita Vespisti
Achim Everhartz was with us again :)
Kölle is already part of our inventory, friend of the house, always with a great offer
Lex and his parts brand for mopeds were offered for sale directly from Valkenburg aan de Geul in the Netherlands.
One of the many highlights was the premiere of Dirk Hövelmann's Ciao, who tells us:
"Only with the support of the whole team, (my business partners @pulverdesigngibesch, @hapebikes, @scootercenter and my friend @rolfbubmann ) the project could finally be presented on time for #OpenDaySC!"
All the details will follow soon here on the blog!
The bgm team was on hand all day to answer questions about new products and developments. And not only about our own brand, but also about the latest highlights, such as the VMC 244, the vape ignitions, the bgm Big Box exhaust bellows and much more.
Around 50 classic bikes and their riders gathered in the photo box. The majority - as expected - Vespas. Followed by 12 Piaggio mopeds, four automatics, four mopeds, three Lambretta and two Royal Alloy. All of them are presented in detail in the blog and the pictures are available for download.
Photo box in the Scooterist Weekender
Things were similarly lively on the test bench. Ar and Roland made their debut in the role of P4 operators and did a great job. Over 50 runs in 5 hours led to ringing ears despite everything.
The most powerful Vespa was delivered by Basti (Bastian Koch) with his BFA360-powered VNB: 56 hp!
Meisi (Marc Meis) parked the most powerful Lambretta on the roll. Marc rebuilt a Targa-Twin from scratch with the components of his choice and delivered 40 hp.
The most powerful Ciao delivered a good 10 hp and came from René Klein.
The SC merchandise stand and the photo box have been carried over from last year's Scooterist Weekender as permanent fixtures for the upcoming Open Days.
Our new #RealScooterist shirts and, of course, the posters were very popular merchandise items. Part of the proceeds will go to "Um halb an der Bar". Greetings to Everell!
If you love salvaging scooter parts, you can find quite interesting things at the Scooter Center Parts Market you can find quite interesting things, even New Old Stock!
Many thanks to everyone! Until the next Scooter Center Open Day SC!
