Special ball bearing from Pinasco with polyamide ball cage, 9 balls and an outer diameter with 0.03 mm oversize.
Ideal for engine housings with worn or oversized bearing seats. The floating bearings in the old engine housings (with two identical crankshaft bearings) in particular are naturally subject to greater wear than the fixed/floating bearings of the later PX engine generation.
If the bearing bushes in the housing are worn, the bearings can be fitted without much effort and without a large temperature difference. The crankshaft can then move towards the clutch under load due to the slanted gearing of the primary drive, causing the pressure point on the clutch lever to move.
The oversize bearings from Pinasco can solve this problem, but please ensure that the bearings are not heated above 125 °C. Otherwise the polyamide cage may be damaged.
