Special ball bearing from Pinasco with polyamide ball cage, 9 balls and an outside diameter with 0.03mm oversize.
Ideal for motor housings with worn or too large bearing seats. Especially the floating bearing in the old engine housings (with two identical crankshaft bearings) is naturally subject to higher wear than the fixed-less bearing of the later PX engine generation.
If the bearing bushes in the housing are worn out, the bearings can be mounted without much effort and without large temperature differences. The crankshaft can then move towards the clutch under load due to the helical teeth of the primary drive, causing the pressure point on the clutch lever to move.
The oversize bearings from Pinasco can solve this problem, but please ensure that the bearings are not heated above 125°C. Otherwise the polyamide cage can be damaged.
