The breaker cam is an important component of the Femsatronic ignition of the early Rally 200. It determines the geometry for triggering the ignition and must therefore fit properly and be technically flawless. As soon as the seat, groove or running surface are worn, the cam should be replaced.
The distance between cam and pickup should be 0.25 mm to 0.30 mm on the Vespa Rally 200 with Femsatronic ignition. This value is important for a clean and reproducible function of the ignition.
The original feather key (colloquially known as a half-moon key) for the Rally 200 Femsatronic is no longer available.
