Clutch bushing -KINGWELLE- Vespa PX, T5, Cosa, Rally, Sprint, GT, GTR, GS160, SS180, GL, Super, VNA, VNB, VBA, VBB
This clutch bushing from KINGWELLE is designed for demanding Vespa engines where the clutch has to transmit high torques continuously. Manufactured from certified plain bearing material and with optimized running clearance, it ensures smooth running of the clutch pinion and reduces wear on the clutch and gearbox.

Construction and material
The bushing is made from a certified material that is specially designed for plain bearing applications. The aim is to create a stable, thermally resilient bearing partner for the clutch pinion that works reliably even at higher temperatures and permanently high speeds. Production takes place with tight tolerances in order to reduce play and tilting movements of the pinion to a minimum.
Compared to many standard bushings, the KINGWELLE design offers a much more defined fit. The sprocket runs more smoothly and the load on the tooth flanks of the primary drive is distributed more evenly. This pays off both with powerful touring setups and with sporty engines.
Running clearance and lubrication
The running clearance is designed for an outer diameter in the range of approx. 28.06 to 28.08 millimetres and is therefore designed for all clutch pinions with a bore of 28.12 millimetres and larger.
A lubrication groove designed in the direction of rotation actively feeds oil into the inside of the bearing. A deliberately designed dead end keeps the oil film in the area of maximum load and thus reduces mixed friction.
A 30 degree starting chamfer makes it easier to push the bushing into the pinion without damaging the fit or pushing up material.
Assembly instructions
For a permanent, backlash-free connection, KINGWELLE recommends gluing the bushing in the clutch pinion with Loctite Endfest. Before gluing, the bore and bushing should be degreased and any old residue removed. The bushing is then inserted in an aligned position and allowed to harden in accordance with the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
After installation, it is advisable to check the axial play of the clutch in the motor. Depending on the dimensions of the hub, the bushing may expand if the press fit is tight. This ensures that the improved bearing position can fully exploit its potential.

FAQ: Clutch bushing -KINGWELLE-
Frequently asked questions
Why is the reduced running clearance important?
Reduced clearance between the bushing and pinion bore ensures that the pinion tilts less and runs more smoothly. This stabilizes the primary drive and reduces point loads on the tooth flanks and clutch basket.
Do I have to glue the bushing?
Bonding with Loctite Endfest is recommended in order to permanently secure the bushing in the pinion with a positive fit. This prevents the bushing from moving or rotating, especially with powerful engines and high mileage.
Does the bushing also fit standard clutches?
Yes, as long as the clutch pinion has the appropriate bore of 28.12 millimetres or larger. The bushing is not limited to pure racing clutches, but can also be used with powerful series or touring clutches.
When is it worth switching to this bushing?
It always makes sense to use it if the existing bushing has run in, there is play in the primary drive or a new engine setup with higher torque is planned. In these cases, the KINGWELLE bushing is a stable basis for further assembly.
