The CASA PERFORMANCE cl utch has been redesigned from scratch and is the only clutch on the market with built-in shock absorbers. The clutch also has 12 spring positions and 7 disks. This enables it to withstand the enormous power output of the Casa Performance Scuderia SSR250/265 engines (47 hp) without any further modifications. If the clutch is used in engines with less power, fewer than the 12 springs already installed can simply be used.
In addition to the integrated shock absorbers, which protect the entire drivetrain, great importance was also attached to simple removal/installation. After removing the axially mounted pressure plate, you have immediate access to the 22 mm central nut. This means that no clutch compressor is required to remove the clutch.
In principle, the clutch fits all Italian, Spanish or Indian engines. However, it is approx. 10 mm higher, which makes it necessary to use the Casa Performance engine cover or a 10 mm spacer for the standard clutch cover. The Casa Performance engine cover (CasaCover) offers the additional major advantage of a very easy-to-operate clutch (due to a modified mechanism for the release lever).
The clutch is available with 47 or 48 teeth. Due to the necessary size of the clutch basket with integrated shock absorber, there is no 46-tooth version. However, this should not be a problem in principle, as the difference in gear reduction between a 46-tooth and a 47/48-tooth sprocket is only around 2-3 km/h per tooth.
