Timing angle:
The timing angle of this crankshaft is longer than that of a standard shaft. Ideal for giving all cylinders, from 125cc original to 133cc racing, a lot more steam. With tuning cylinders, the standard shaft with its much too short intake time cannot keep up. When a certain engine speed level is reached, the engine is then literally shut off. With the optimized control angles of our shaft, the engine can be tuned as if an original Piaggio shaft had been installed. Nevertheless, the extended intake angle ensures that even completely rebuilt engines can fully rev up. In addition, the rotary valve inlet of the housing can be extended to create sufficient space for a larger carburettor and further increase the engine's performance.
Design:
with so-called small 19 mm cone. Such shafts can be recognized by the diameter of the shaft sealing ring surface on the alternator side. This is the surface that is located after the cone but before the bearing seat of the bearing on the crankshaft stub.
TIP: The 19 mm diameter shafts have a narrow pointed cone, which can also break off in powerful engines with high engine speeds. In this case, we recommend converting to a crankshaft with a 20 mm taper. However, this requires the ignition to be converted.
