The BGM 200cc cylinder is an improved version of the already reliable and powerful original cylinder. Suitable for the 200cc engines of the Rally200, PX200, Cosa200 and the Spanish DS/DN/TX/Iris models, the BGM cylinder offers an additional plus in safety and performance thanks to an exact honing to 9/100 running clearance and slightly larger scavenging channels. This makes it slightly more powerful and more fuel-efficient than the original.
The cylinder is fitted with the original cylinder head and comes ready to install with piston, clips, piston pin and base gasket. The exhaust port can also be taken from the original cylinder (screwed on).
TIP: The cylinder runs excellently with the BGM Big Box Touring exhaust (BGM1011TR). This further enhances the wonderful torque of the original engine and offers more power and performance across the entire rev range with unchanged durability. If you want a little more and are in the process of an engine overhaul anyway, you can further increase the power output by installing a crankshaft with a modified intake angle (BGM031800G). For an increase in displacement and even more power, use the BGM Touring long-stroke shaft with 60 mm stroke instead of 57 mm. This also has an improved intake angle, which increases the displacement to 208cc and also lengthens the cylinder control angle.
This makes an otherwise completely original engine significantly more superior without filing and milling, without losing its beautiful drivability. The longer stroke is simply compensated for by a 1.5 mm thick head gasket spacer. As a result, the engine quickly has 13-14 hp at the wheel and rides very relaxed and confidently. A nice side effect is the absolute invisibility of these tuning measures.
