Malossi 210 Sport MK2: Torque & Touring in Perfect Balance

The Malossi 210 Sport is an ideal base for a powerful engine with plenty of torque and a wide rev range. It can easily be used with stock components.

Optimized Design for More Power and Easy Maintenance

The 2021 MK2 Sport version features a bolted steel exhaust flange, unlike the earlier model. This two-piece flange makes it easier to modify the exhaust port and replace the flange itself. The piston, now made by Vertex (formerly ASSO), has a molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) coating for better lubrication. It’s also shorter, making it fully compatible with 60 mm long-stroke crankshafts. Enlarged piston windows now better match the cylinder’s transfer layout.

Cylinder Head with Clever Thermal Management

The well-known thermally robust Malossi cylinder is paired with a carefully engineered head. It features a tight squish and slightly negative squish angle, delivering power and cooling the piston edge zone. The aluminum body helps manage heat and supports a compression ratio of 12.5:1, giving the engine great throttle response and strong power across the rev range.

Best paired with the BigBox Touring (or Polini Box), or the BigBox Sport.
The Touring version benefits from a longer gear ratio thanks to the early torque, e.g. with a 24T BGM clutch pinion. Ideal for tuned engines with modified intake and casings – perfect for fast touring fun.

NOTE: The exhaust flange screws may interfere with the exhaust clamp. Replace with flat-head screws from the start (part no. 3333891).
