OEM 125 cc cylinder with 3 channels for Vespa PV and PK
This is a very successful reproduction of the original cylinder of the performance-enhanced Vespa Primavera, the ET3 (as well as the later PK125 models). The designation ET3 stands for
electronicignition and 3 transfer ports
(Travasi 3). This is the most important improvement over the two-channel cylinder. The third overflow channel (also called boost port) helps to achieve significantly better performance. Most recently installed in the PK ETS, Piaggio states a whopping 97 km/h as the top speed for this model. All this with a 20 mm carburettor and normal crankshaft.
- Bore: Ø55mm
- Stroke: 51 mm (std.)
- Displacement: 121ccm
- Exhaust stud bolt: M8x1.25
- Stud bolt distance exhaust: 56 mm (like original PK125)
This well-made and solid cylinder is recommended as a high-performance replacement for the original cylinder of the Primavera models or as a stable and superior tuning for the 50cc models. Of course, these then require additional components from the 125cc version: crankshaft, cylinder cover, stud bolts, cylinder head, carburetor, transmission, exhaust.
Conclusion: The ET3 cylinder is the perfect way to build a stable and fast engine that has nothing to hide with its performance. This cylinder is also supplied with pistons, piston pins, piston rings and piston pin clips. Piston rings 2x1.5 mm. Exhaust studs (not included).
NOTE: The cylinder already has the modern hole pattern for Vespa PK exhaust systems (8 mm studs with 56 mm spacing). Original PV/ET3 exhaust systems still use a distance of 52 mm. The manifold should be adapted accordingly (when using original ET3 exhaust systems) or a suitable aluminum manifold should be used (when using original PV125 exhaust systems). Modern exhaust systems usually already have a suitable manifold.
