BGM PRO BigBox TOURING - Box exhaust system for Vespa PK 125 and Motovespa 125 / PK75 S / PK75 Junior

Touring box with close-to-production look and moderate acoustics. Designed for powerful early torque and a wide, easily usable rev range. Suitable for Italian PK 125 as well as Motovespa 125 and the Spanish PK75 S / PK75 Junior.

Characteristics and use

Touring layout: early, high torque and wider usable range
Harmonizes with PK series 125 cc engines and common 125cc tuning setups (e.g. Polini 133)
Stable connection up to the highest gear, rideability suitable for everyday use
Near-standard outer shape - inconspicuous road setup

Technical data and special features

Design: Box system with near-standard external shape
Manifold: split at the bottom; body can be quickly detached via tension springs
Fit: PK 125 chassis without modifications
Tuning: initial main jet +2 to +4 sizes compared to standard recommended

PK75 S / PK75 Junior (Spain)
Long-stroke engine
Bore: Ø 43 mm, stroke: 51 mm
Large cylinder diameter - compatible with 125 cc box systems
PK75 XL (Spain)
Short-stroke engine
Bore: Ø 47 mm, stroke: 43 mm
Small cylinder diameter - not suitable for this 125 cc version
Recommendation: BGM1050PK (50-cc version)

PK 125 XL2
PK 125 ETS

Not suitable: PK 80 (Italian) - use the 50 cc version BGM1050PK for this. Also not for PK "Automatica".

PK 125 S / PK 125 XL / PK 125 XL2

Not suitable: Motovespa PK75 XL - use the 50 cc version BGM1050PK for this. No Automatica variants.

Fitting and tuning

Installation without modifications to the PK 125 frame or engine housing
Manifold can be detached using tension springs; body can be removed separately
Sealing compound at the manifold/body transition keeps the connection permanently clean
Initially select slightly richer carburetor tuning (+2 - +4 main jet sizes), finally check according to spark plug pattern/AFR
