With this tool, the drive shafts of large frame engines can be very easily pulled out of the bearing seat. This applies to both Lusso and Alt shafts.
The tool is delivered assembled as shown in picture 1 and can be used immediately.
Simply insert the plate with the outer screws into the existing housing holes and position the threaded piece with the hexagon to one of the two shift cross guides.
The supplied square bolt is now pushed through the threaded piece and the switching cross guide.To prevent the square bolt from falling out, it is secured with the two permanent cotter pins.
By turning the hexagon with a 22 nut or ring wrench, the drive shaft is then pulled out via a fine thread.
Like all my tools, this one is made of tool steel of very high quality. It is definitely worth the investment because it will not damage the drive shaft or the engine housing.
Due to the flattened washer, the drive shaft can be removed even with the engine and fir tree installed.
