WHY FKM
The material FKM (fluorocarbon rubber) is extremely resistant to heat, friction and fuel/ethanol.
In Germany, current super fuel already contains up to 5% ethanol admixture per se. In other countries, the ethanol/alcohol content is even higher.
Conventional oil seals can swell or soften on contact with fuels containing ethanol. BGM PRO FKM oil seals, on the other hand, offer perfect protection.
In addition, FKM is twice as temperature-resistant as conventional (blue) NBR oil seals, has very good gas impermeability and is also highly resistant to ageing.
WHAT IT IS SUITABLE FOR
An engine fitted with BGM PRO FKM oil seals can therefore also be operated with E10 fuel (10% alcohol content) without any problems.
The high-quality brown FKM®* sealing material is permanently resistant to alcohol and is also suitable for engines with high temperature loads and high speeds.
BGM PRO FKM oil seals are therefore suitable for all engines, regardless of whether they are original or tuned high-performance engines.
ADVANTAGES BGM PRO
The BGM PRO oil seals offer the additional feature of double sealing. All oil seals that seal to the atmosphere have a so-called dust lip. This is positioned in front of the actual sealing lip and keeps out dust, dirt and moisture. This further increases the excellent stability.

The BGM PRO FKM oil seals are available individually and in sets for almost all Vespa and Lambretta engines.
