LTH-Box exhaust touring version for Vespa PX125 - optimized for close-to-production and mild tuning: early torque, harmonious pulling power, unobtrusive appearance

Optimized internal structure For series and mild tuning Early torque Plug-and-play Near-series box look Moderate volume

Application range

This LTH box has a different internal design and supports near-stock PX125 engines and mild tuning setups particularly well. It delivers early torque, clean pulling power in everyday use and smooth power delivery on city and country roads. Ideal if the original characteristics are to be retained, but with a little more power and reserves.

Characteristics

The adapted internal routing promotes scavenging with close-to-production timing. This eliminates the need for high exhaust angles and complex machining. The result: willing revving up to the upper mid-range, pleasant background noise and noticeably more thrust from the lower and mid-range compared to the standard exhaust. Compared to the open LTH version, the focus is clearly on everyday use and tractability.

Setup and gear ratio

Works very well with a close-to-stock gear ratio and original 20/20 carburetor. Proper jetting is mandatory; if necessary, adjust the main jet moderately and check the spark plug pattern. Excessively long primary ratios reduce acceleration.

Fitting and tuning

Plug-and-play at the original mounting points. Ensure stress-free installation and tight connections. Retighten screw connections after 50 to 100 kilometers. For stable results, align the sealing surfaces cleanly and use a fresh sealing ring on the cylinder neck.

Scope of delivery

LTH box exhaust system.

Advantages at a glance

- Internal design especially for series and mild tuning

- Early torque and harmonious acceleration

- No high exhaust angle or milling work necessary

- Very good with 20/20 carburetor and near-standard transmission ratio

- Unobtrusive appearance and touring-compatible volume

- Plug-and-play installation, good ground clearance

The internal structure is designed for close-to-production timing. This improves filling in the lower and middle range and supports standard and mild-tuning cylinders better than the open, more rev-oriented version.
No. The box works explicitly with close-to-production timing. Clean carburetor tuning is sufficient to exploit the full potential.
Original PX125 cylinders and mild touring setups with 20/20 carburetor and stock or slightly shorter primary. The aim is a powerful everyday engine with good elasticity.
Yes, the near-stock box design offers good ground clearance and fits with a main stand. The background noise is moderate and suitable for touring, even quieter than the open version.
