Why this cover?
The PREMIUM fan wheel cover replaces the standard smallframe cover 1:1 and is available in two versions:highly polished stainless steel (virtually maintenance-free, no rust) and steel as unpainted, oiled sheet metal. This variant is not painted and is supplied oiled to protect against corrosion. The advantage: after thorough degreasing, a professional, durable paint finish in the desired or vehicle colorcan be applied - ideal for restorations and a clean original look.
Compatibility & notes
Suitable for Smallframe models without Elestart from approx. 1967.Note: The V50 1st series (V5A1T to 1965) used a smaller cover - this version cannot be used there without adaptation/spacer. Not suitable for PK Automatica/Elestart.
Note on the paintwork
As this is unpainted, oiled sheet metal, the cover must be thoroughly degreased before painting. The paint can then be applied (primer, filler, top coat, clear coat if necessary) in the desired quality and color - this ensures a particularly durable finish if prepared correctly.
