BENELLI
Transmission parts by Stefano Benelli have rightly earned an excellent reputation in the Vespa scene. If you're looking for reliable race-ready gearbox components, you’ll find them here. Hardened to approx. 60 HRC, Benelli parts offer the perfect balance of hardness and necessary elasticity to withstand the extreme loads of a racing engine in the long term.
Stefano now also offers his extensive expertise in the form of a complete gearbox for GS150 Wideframe models. It includes the four gear wheels, the auxiliary shaft, the main shaft, as well as a gear spider with selector rod bushing.

REINFORCED GEARING
The Benelli gearbox has significantly fewer teeth (on the gear wheels as well as the auxiliary shaft) than the Pinasco version. This results in a wider tooth base and therefore a much more robust gear mesh.

GEAR RATIOS
The Benelli gearbox exactly matches the original GS150 gear ratio. It is already very short from the factory and corresponds to a PX200 gearbox with an extra short third and fourth gear.

GEAR LENGTH + PRIMARY DRIVE
The GS150 gearbox with a 23/65 primary is roughly equivalent to a PX125 with a classic 22/68 reduction. To achieve the same ratio as a PX200, the GS150 gearbox requires a long (straight-cut) primary with 25/63 (available from BGM PRO).

Benelli GS150 gear ratios:

1st gear: 58/12

2nd gear: 54/16

3rd gear: 50/20

4th gear: 46/24

CONCLUSION: Very robust and durable gearbox, even for ambitious GS150 Wideframe tuning projects
