With the standard gear ratio, with a front sprocket with 14 teeth and a rear sprocket with 46 teeth, this results in the following gear ratios: 1st gear: 14.34, 2nd gear 8.63, 3rd gear 5.79. In comparison, the J50 Special with original 13/46 sprockets has the following gear ratios: 1st gear: 22.80, 2nd gear: 12.50, 3rd gear: 8.14.
