The bgm PRO ignition coil in classic blue is a high-quality replacement for the tried and tested ignition coil from Eledro Klitz. For years, this was the benchmark in terms of reliability and was also fitted as original equipment by Piaggio itself. The bgm PRO version offers the same quality and compatibility - ideal for classic Vespa models as well as Piaggio mopeds and mopeds. The scope of delivery also includes a high-quality bgm PRO silicone ignition cable (1 meter), a spark plug connector with 1 Ohm resistance and a rubber cap as splash protection for the excitation current cable.

Important: This coil is intended for contact-controlled ignition systems. For electronic CDI ignitions, please use the appropriate ignition coil for CDI.
On some Smallframe models, an additional retaining plate is used ex works: Piaggio 156338 (Scooter Center 1156338). Basically, the following applies: Vespa Smallframe from 1975 onwards (engine housing chamfered at the fan tunnel) generally no longer require this additional plate.
Some largeframe models (built between approx. 1965 and 1978) use an ignition coil with a riveted-on additional plate ex works. Our bgm PRO coil also fits here if the retaining plate 156338 (Scooter Center 1156338) is also fitted. Alternatively, the authentic ignition coil with riveted-on plate can be ordered: 7676139.
