Ignition - VAPE Road without fan ring - 12V AC - Vespa Wideframe Ø75

This VAPE Road 12V AC is the wideframe solution suitable for everyday use for bright light, clean spark and less maintenance. The Road CDI works with static ignition timing like an original ignition, only contactless. Important for this version: supplied without fan guard - it is designed for use with the original fan guard.

Without fan guard - what does that mean?

This version is supplied without a fan guard. The original fan guard of your engine is still used. A suitable adapter is included in the set so that the fan guard can be fitted correctly.

Tip: Check the fan duct and fan guard for damage before assembly. A clean air flow is particularly important for wideframes.

Assembly and instructions

Install stress-free and carefully establish ground points.
Determine TDC correctly and pre-adjust ignition according to markings. Flashing is recommended for a reliable check.
Retighten screws after 50 to 100 km.
When converting from 6V to 12V, the bulbs and, depending on the vehicle, the wiring harness must be adapted.
