bgm PRO intake manifolds for Vespa VNA and Motovespa - modern carburetors for historic engines
The early Vespa large-frame engines from the 1950s and 60s are technically unique - and often pose a challenge when choosing a carburetor. Anyone who rides an engine with direct cylinder intake knows the problem: the original Dellorto UA16 S1 is hard to come by - and when it is, it is rarely in good condition.
This precisely manufactured intake manifold provides a remedy and opens up new possibilities for tuning your classic. It fits the following engines perfectly:
✔️ Vespa VNA1T and VNA2T (model years 1956-1957)
✔️ Motovespa 150S (engine V201M and 502M)
✔️ Motovespa 150 Sprint and 150 GS (engine 04M)
✔️ Motovespa 160 GT (engine 09M)
The nozzle has a streamlined design and enables the installation of modern carburetors with better spare parts supply, clean running and simple tuning. The carburetor sits to the rear in the direction of travel - this creates sufficient space and makes maintenance easy. A suitable gasket is supplied.
More air, more power - ideal for tuning
The original UA16 S1 is very small and acts like a bottleneck - the engine cannot "breathe" freely. This intake manifold makes it easy to convert to modern carburetors. The result: better filling level, clean engine running, powerful acceleration and a base that can be easily tuned - from a discreet everyday setup to a sporty touring engine.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions about the intake manifold VNA and Motovespa
Why do I need this intake manifold at all?

Which carburetors fit?
In the Ø 23 mm version: Polini CP23
In the Ø 28 mm version: Dellorto PHBH 28, Keihin PWK 28, Mikuni TMX 27
