With the bgm PRO milling template, the intake timing of classic Vespa rotary valve engines can be specifically improved - for more torque, better filling and noticeably greater riding pleasure. Developed for typical touring setups, it enables optimization suitable for everyday use without risk to the sealing surface.

Technical details

The bgm PRO template is based on experience from numerous Vespa tuning projects. It helps you to transfer sensible steering angles to your engine housing - quickly, safely and precisely. The control angles for powerful touring operation (approx. 110°/55°, depending on the case) deliver strong performance with full suitability for everyday use.
NOTE: The old engine cases cannot be opened as far towards top dead center (TDC) at the intake as the later PX cases. On the old housing types discussed here, a stud bolt is positioned very close to the intake window. An extension of the control angle after top dead center is therefore only possible by modifying the intake control rod of the crankshaft. Today's crankshafts are already optimized in this respect and have a longer opening angle than an original Piaggio crankshaft ex works.
