If the original mirrors mounted above the handlebars are only perceived as a necessity but are otherwise not to your liking, then handlebar end mirrors are a real alternative. All that is needed for installation are suitable installation kits and covers for the original mirror holes in the upper handlebar fairing. Handlebar end mirrors can be fitted with or without handlebar end weight.
